Raul R. Espejel

Raul is currently completing his senior year in Finance at the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education. He brings a strong foundation in financial analysis and data-driven decision-making, supported by an international background having lived in Chicago, Miami, and Querétaro.

He has gained hands-on experience through internships in both the energy and financial inclusion sectors. At NatGas Querétaro, Raúl developed financial models to optimize data systems and support strategic decision-making in the energy industry. Previously, at Impúlsate Inclusión, he contributed to improving credit scoring algorithms and loan underwriting processes, helping expand access to financing for underserved communities. His early exposure to development finance began at ProMujer México, assisting with field operations for community lending programs.

Fluent in English and Spanish, Raúl combines technical financial skills with a strong academic record and a passion for inclusive and sustainable finance. His background and professional experiences position him to contribute analytical insight and fresh perspective to Aragon Capital’s investment team.
